  A rude, unprofessional, condescending. . .person (not the word I want to use). If I could give Duanne no stars, I would. From her curt tone to her failure to provide comprehensive information, I NEVER should've moved forward with getting a policy through Duanne when she got an attitude after I inquired about the multi-policy discount and the variance in the prices that she'd given (She provided a poor/ambiguous explanation, we went back about the information she gave; I finally had to stop her and say, "This is what you're saying. Please tell me what you're meaning/trying to say.") However, wanting to give business to a woman and someone in my neighborhood, I moved forward with getting a policy. Huge mistake! Within three months my premium shot up almost $300. When I called to find out why, Duanne was once again the same smart-mouthed, unprofessional she was the first time I talked to her. Not one to be a fool twice, I ultimately asked to cancel the policy. She replied, "Okay, thanks" and ended the call. She didn't ask when I wanted the policy to cancel, didn't try to find out why the premium increased so drastically, etc. I called back and spoke to her staff member, Sharon. Though much more professional in presentation, I was livid to learn that Duanne set the policy to cancel for today. Having paid for several more days, common sense would say that I wanted the policy to cancel the last day I've paid through. If she wasn't sure, Duanne should've asked. I'm beyond disappointed by the lack of basic customer service I received. State Farm agents come a dime a dozen. With this in mind I would think/hope that Duanne would represent her business and the bigger brand of State Farm with a better level of decorum. If she doesn't want to deal with customers, their questions, etc., then she should find another profession. Her attitude is sh*tty.
