- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Worst CheckSmart ever!!!!! Don't ever do your taxes with these people. I needed an advance on my taxes so I did my taxes with them. They have no idea what they are doing, they will not help you, they screwed my taxes up and then tried hiding it for 9 days!!! I had to threaten to call the IRS before they would fix it. Then once it was fixed they took my entire state refund for the preparation fees instead of waiting to take it out of my federal like EVERYONE else does. Absolutely the WORST experience I've ever had with my taxes. Angie and Robert are the worst! Make sure if you use this CheckSmart you ask all the questions because they will not tell you anything up front like they should, and then when it's too late they are like "well sorry"By Becky Nye, September 07, 2017
